The report on the June meeting is short and sweet. On the day of our June meeting, several members of our group were busy at their tables at the hugely popular Heroes Convention at the Charlotte Convention Center.
Dandy Dave McDonald, Brilliant Brian Leonard and Gurgling Greg Russell met at Fuel Pizza at 11:30. The restaurant was inexplicably empty compared to last year. We had a nice lunch and discussed our latest projects before heading across the street to the convention.
We went straight to Marcus Hamilton and Don Sherwood's tables to chat with them. They were nice enough to take a break from signing autographs and take this photo for the Web site.
Then we split up to take in the rest of the convention, stopping by to visit Al Bigley and Andy Smith as well. Of course, Shelton Drum was running around like a chicken with it's legs cut off keeping the whole damn show running like a finely tuned 1964 Chevrolet Corvair.
